PLEASE NOTE: The following is not an all-inclusive listing, and reflects the information made available to rally-goers at the time of the rally …
Fishing:
Fishing is steps from the campsite! There are two bass lakes and limited trout in the Swannanoa River, which winds its way through the middle of the resort, and nearby French Broad River. Lots of great places close by to fish. Non-resident inland fishing licenses cost $18 for a 10-day basic license, with an $13 add-on for trout fishing in Public Mountain Trout Waters. No license is needed for fishing in the KOA ponds.
Off-Road Vehicles:
There is NO off-road vehicle use permitted at the Rally site. For more information on sanctioned Off-Road Vehicle (ORV) locations nearby please consult the USDA OHV Trail Riding program for North Carolina.
